Angel Rivera: A Designer's Vision Comes to LIfeFrom the journey of a gown’s inspiration, to showcasing the finished product on the runway.
Angel Rivera’s gowns are capturing the hearts of brides around the world this season. His inspiration for the gowns is brought to life through his meticulous designs, expertise in pattern making, draping and fitting. All his wedding dresses are made for each bride to treasure.
TheRingBearer.ca caught up with Rivera to find out what his inspiration was for two of the dresses from his 2012 Victoria Collection. Ironically, his inspiration for the Brenda and Lilianna wedding dress came to him while relaxing at the beach. “The sun was shining and the waves were rolling into the shoreline,” Rivera says. “I looked at the waves and I got the idea for the two dresses in this season’s collection – reminiscent of cascading waves.” Rivera continues to ‘wow’ us with his fashion-forward designs. “It really amazes me how everyday beauty can go unnoticed and how a fabulous designer, like Angel Rivera, creates a dress from it,” says Lori Pannia, Editor-In-Chief of TheRingBearer.ca More on Angel Rivera More Editors' Picks More Wedding Dresses More Fashion |
