This policy describes how TheRingBearer.ca (herein referred to as The Ring Bearer) treats personal information that The Ring Bearer collects and receives. Personal information refers to information that personally will identify you: E-mail address, your name, and address. This policy in its entirety will not apply to the practices of companies that The Ring Bearer does not own/control, or for that matter people that The Ring Bearer does not employ or manage. Furthermore, while we do screen advertising companies to the best of our abilities to ensure certain business values we do recommend that you exercise caution and discretion when entering a business transaction with any of the businesses listed by The Ring Bearer. The Ring Bearer does not take responsibility for any third party companies that advertise there services with us or any product they may offer.

THE RING BEARER is committed to providing content that is relevant and trendy for today’s bridal community. The RING BEARER registration form requires that you provide us with an E-mail address (for password security reasons and time to time Ring Bearer updates), the bride and groom’s name (or general user’s name), marital status, full address, reception location (if any), and the date of the wedding. Demographic information are compiled to help us improve our content and provide you with the best the RING BEARER has to offer that will matters to you most. This information will also help us identify things you may be interested in so that we may offer other pre-screened organizations that have specific direct mail products and services of interest. You may choose at any time to remove your E-mail address from these mailing lists by clicking remove from mailing list. Our commitment is to our member’s satisfaction, to which we continually will strive to attain.

OUR SECURITY PRACTICES

Your privacy is important to us. Therefore, we implement industry standard security, weather you are online or off, in an effort to safeguard your confidentiality through firewalls and Secure Socket Layers (SSL) where appropriate. Only those employees of THE RING BEARER who require specific information to complete a request by the owner of the information are able to access personally identifiable information. Our employees use internal security software that inhibits anyone not solely granted access to this information from gaining said information. Furthermore, ALL employees are updated regularly on our security and privacy practices. Anytime new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected. Finally, our servers that store this information are in a secure facility, with private security, locked cages requiring keys, photo ID key cards and biometric scans to access.
