The Decor
Rolling hills, trees and meadows were the backdrop for Lisa and Darren’s wedding at Monora Park in the township of Mono just north of Orangeville, Ontario.

“The pavilion has a gorgeous wrap around balcony that overlooks acres of natural beauty,” said Lisa.

“In the park, there is a beautiful gazebo where we exchanged our vows,” she said.

Wedding and event designer, Rachel Clingen, brought the beauty of the outside in with bursts of pink and orange callas and roses at the reception. The white Manzanita trees with bud blooms created a charming whimsical feel for guests to enjoy.

The Wedding Attire
Lisa’s classic ivory A-line silk gown, designed by Essence of Australia, featured a strapless sweetheart neckline, draped bodice and a crinoline underneath the skirt.

The bridesmaids wore fuchsia pink gowns. Each bridesmaid added her own unique style to the gown by picking their favourite neckline for their dress.

The groom, Darren, wore a grey suit designed by Calvin Klein, white dress shirt and black suspenders. The groomsmen wore the same outfit and to add some originality to the look the groom and his men also adorned a top hat and cane.

The Most Memorable Moment
The most memorable moment for Lisa was walking down the aisle with her father.

Lisa said, “My father is the most amazing man to me and I look up to him.”

“I will never forget that moment and just to be able to share it with him as I make the biggest transition of my life, was something I will never forget and always treasure.”

Wedding Advice
Lisa’s wedding tip: “It goes by so fast, take the time to soak in every precious moment.”
