With all of Tony Romo’s former flames getting married within the last few months, Tony finally gets his turn to catch the wedding bug.
Romo has had a “decent” dating life; once dated country superstar Carrie Underwood and pop singer/fashion mogul Jessica Simpson, both of which have recently been married and/or engaged.
Candice Crawford, a former American beauty queen, is a reporter for KDAF covering high school sports. She also hosts the Dallas Cowboys’ weekend sports show, Special Edition.
On December 16, 2010, Crawford announced her engagement on KDAF Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas news station. Romo “popped” the question in a restaurant while celebrating her 24th birthday with her family.
Come on Tony, you’ve been sidelined since late October, you had plenty of spare time to think of a better proposal than a restaurant proposal. Either way, we forgive you; you must have done an awesome job of asking, you just got a former beauty queen to say yes!
Candice Crawford’s engagement ring is an eight-carat radiant-cut yellow diamond, surrounded by another carat of round diamonds, all set in platinum. The cost is estimated at $500,000!
