Superstars attend London event in support of HIV/AIDS fundraiser.
Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper have teamed up to support M·A·C Cosmetics’ Viva Glam campaign, “From Our Lips”.
The Viva Glam pan-European launch took place on Monday, March 1, in London, England. Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper were involved in an HIV/AIDS awareness discussion led by Sharon Osbourne, who posed over a dozen questions generated by fans on Facebook and Twitter. The stars supported a woman's right to condom use and the M·A·C AIDS fund is currently working with a pharmaceutical company that is developing a female condom.
M·A·C has created a special lipstick shade for both of this year’s spokespersons, with a light coral-red for Lauper and a cool blue-pink shade for Gaga. One hundred per cent of the selling price of these lipsticks worldwide will be donated to the M·A·C AIDS Fund. To date, the fundraising campaign has helped raise over $160 million US for men, women and children affected by HIV and AIDS.
