Celebrity Engagement: Carrie Underwood & Mike Fisher

Hockey’s going a little bit Country! Carrie Underwood’s publicist confirms country singer’s engagement to NHLer.

Ottawa Senators centre, Mike Fisher, popped the question to the former American Idol winner on December 21, 2009. No wedding date has been set for the happy couple who have been dating for about a year.

The couple met back in March 2008 in Ottawa after Fisher went backstage to meet Underwood following her concert.

Carrie Underwood is wearing a 5-carat diamond engagement ring designed by Jonathon Arndt. The ring is estimated at over $150K !
