How we met
The old cliché of love at first sight rings true for this couple. Kimberly first met Tony at an outdoor restaurant in New York City. She was dining that night with her modelling agent from Florida, who just had major hip surgery. On the advice of a colleague, Kimberly chose the restaurant, unaware the tables were too low for her agent to sit in. After Kimberly informed the hostess, Tony, who oversees marketing for the major restaurant group, came into work and saved the day with a cold bottle of Sake. The two hit it off immediately and talked all night long.
The Proposal
Tony visited Kimberly while she was in Paris for business. While at the Le Jules Verne restaurant on top of the Eiffel Tower, Tony ordered pink champagne, while the two shared a beautiful moment. “I started to tear up,” she recalls. “Then Tony said, ‘what do you think about this? And out came this beautiful ring he had in his pocket. Obviously, I said YES!!!”
The Wedding
On the way to the ceremony, Kimberly accidently left her bouquet at the surf lodge where the bridal party changed. “We whipped around and went back to get it and people thought I had changed my mind!” Kimberly says with a giant laugh. The ceremony was at the beach on Montauk, Long Island.
Most Memorable Moments
“Being barefoot on the beach in my wedding dress and seeing all the onlookers, people in Speedos and bathing suits clapping and cheering as we said our ‘I Dos.’”
“Being on the beach in front of the Minister saying ‘I do’ to the man I am going to spend the rest of my life with…PRICELESS!!”
Bride Attire
Kimberly’s Chantilly lace sheath gown, David Bridal’s exclusive Galina line, has a strapless neckline and empire waist.
Words of Advice
“Do whatever you can yourselves. The price is so much cheaper. Also, don’t stress! It’s not worth the grey hair!”
