**Contest Rules ("Official Contest Rules") SPONSOR: Contest is sponsored by The Ring Bearer Ltd., and Moores Canada Corporation ("Sponsor"). 1. ELIGIBILITY: TheRingBearer.ca’s Getting Groomed by Moores ("Contest") is open to five-males, each member of which: 1. No purchase necessary, winner will have to answer a skilled testing question to claim any prizes. 2. Is a legal resident of Canada, excluding the provinces of Quebec, Nunavut, Yukon Territory, and Northwest Territories 3. Is 18 years of age or older at the time of entry 4. One member must be engaged to be lawfully married at the time of entry 5. Has created an eligible membership at theringbearer.ca/cprofile.php “Membership” and submitted an official application to qualify at theringbearer.ca/moores/story the “Official Contest Page" 6. Is knowingly releasing personal images and voice to be used by the Sponsors for Advertising and Publishing purposes involving but not limited too; web, tv, print, and radio 7. Is willing to comply in full with these Official Rules and all other terms and conditions of the Contest 8. Is not excluded from eligibility by these Official Rules and/or the other terms and conditions of the Contest 9. Is of good moral character, has never been convicted of a felony of any nature or any crime of violence 10. Understands entry will be publicly available on the Internet and elsewhere both during and after the Contest Period, and is willing to have it be so available. 11. Each group of males, the members of which are in full compliance with the above criteria, shall be referenced herein as an "Entrant" or, collectively with other such groups, as "Entrants.". Employees and consultants of Sponsor, or other advertising or promotion agencies or business partners involved with or are retained to provide services in connection with the Contest, and/or any of their respective affiliates, parent company or related entities, subsidiaries or successors of any such individuals or entities, and their respective immediate family members are not eligible to enter or win the Contest. For purposes of these Official Rules "immediate family members" is defined as parents, spouses, former spouses, children, grandchildren, dependents, siblings or others similarly related to and/or those living in the same household as the employee in question. All determinations of eligibility shall be made by Sponsor in its sole discretion. By submitting an entry, entering online and/or uploading photos, each member of each Entrant agrees that he has read and consents to be bound by and comply with these Official Rules at the time of submission and throughout the Contest. 2. HOW TO ENTER: The Contest will open to accept Entrant applications on January 14, 2022 at 12:01 a.m. (EST) and will close Feb 28, 2021 at 11:59 p.m (EST) – the “Submission Period”. During the Submission Period, Entrants must visit TheRingBearer.ca and to enter must (a) set-up or have a TheRingBearer.ca Membership login and password, and (b) submit a full application to the Official Contest Page to qualify for the contest which includes (1) tell us your name, city and wedding date (2) write a brief note on why you deserve to be Groomed By Moores, (3) upload a photo of yourself, (4) submit a photo of the Groom and three Groomsmen spoofing one of the iconic photos provided and submit this to [email protected]. TheRingBearer.ca Editors will pick their favourite 10 applications as “Finalists” to be unveiled March 14, 2021 at 12:01am (EST). The finalist’s applications will then be published on TheRingBearer.ca for the public to “Vote” on their favourites, the Entrant with the most validated non-fraudulent votes is declared the winner. Voting opens to the public March 14, 2021 at 12:01am (EST) and close April 30, 2021 at 11:59pm (EST). TheRingBearer.ca will then tally the votes cast, perform any validation investigation on votes, and unveil the winner on May 4, 2021 at 12:01am (EST). Each Entry (whether complete or incomplete, singular or duplicate) is and shall at all times remain The Ring Bearer Ltd property as of the time submitted and will not be returned or acknowledged. 3. JUDGING TO SELECT FINALISTS: Editors of TheRingBearer.ca (the "Judges") will select all Finalists from the applications submitted. The decisions of the Judges are final and binding on all matters relating to the selection of winners. The Finalists will be judged on the following criteria in the Judges' sole and unfettered discretion: 1. Originality of Entrant's description of why they deserve to be Groomed by Moores (0-20 points); 2. Originality and creativity of Entrant's Photo/Video Spoof (0-80 points); Each Entrant application will be given a score by the Judges based on the above. The 10 Entrants with the highest score will be deemed a Finalist. In the event of a tie, the Entrants will be put into a random draw. 4. PUBLIC VOTING TO SELECT WINNERS: Entrant applications will be posted at the Official Contest Page for public voting. Sponsor in its discretion reserves the right at any time not to post, or to remove, any Entry that fails to comply with these Official Rules. Visitors to the Entry Site will be given the opportunity to vote on eligible Entries from March 13, 2021 at 12:01am (EST) to April 30, 2021 at 11:59pm. Voters must register to vote and in doing so must have a valid and confirmed email address. Any person may vote, and an Entrant may vote for his/her own Entry. Electronic or automatically generated voting is not allowed, only one vote per person (meaning one vote per email address) per day per entry is allowed. TheRingBearer.ca tracks each vote made and will investigate voting practices and at it’s sole discretion may discard any vote or extreme cases disqualify Entrants for infringing on any of the above rules set forth for voting. Sponsor encourages voters to judge entries based on the criteria for winning set forth in these Official Rules. 5. PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES ("FAIR MARKET VALUE"): ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE (referred to hereafter as "Grand Prize") will be awarded to the Finalist with the highest number of votes cast (the "Grand Prize Winner"). The Grand Prize will consist of an ultimate Groomed package provided by Moores Canada with an estimated total fair market value $1,300 which includes: 1. Groom’s Prize - One (1) Five hundred dollars and no cents ($500) gift certificate to Moores 2. Groomsmen Prize - One (1) Two hundred dollars and no cents ($200) gift certificate to Moores 3. Groomsmen Prize - One (1) Two hundred dollars and no cents ($200) gift certificate to Moores 4. Groomsmen Prize - One (1) Two hundred dollars and no cents ($200) gift certificate to Moores 5. Groomsmen Prize - One (1) Two hundred dollars and no cents ($200) gift certificate to Moores 6. Each groom & groomsmen receive their suit rentals (valued at $500) 6. Entrant will be required to sign the Official Contest Rules and answer a skill testing question and to return all such documents within five (5) business days of the date sent to Entrant by Sponsor. Should a prize notification or prize addressed to a particular Entrant be returned as undeliverable, Sponsor will not resend the notice (whether by the same or another method), research the Entrant's address nor make any further attempts at delivery. That Entrant will be deemed disqualified and another Entrant will be chosen as a winner. Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background check of the Entrant chosen as the potential Grand Prize Winner before confirming such Entrant as the Grand Prize Winner and awarding the Grand Prize. If the background check reveals that, in Sponsor's discretion, Entrant has been convicted of a crime or otherwise engaged in any conduct that would disqualify Entrant pursuant to these Official Rules or that, in Sponsor's discretion, would reflect adversely on Sponsor, Sponsor may disqualify the Entrant. 7. DISQUALIFICATION: SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT IN ITS DISCRETION TO DISQUALIFY ANY PERSON WHO TAMPERS WITH OR IS SUSPECTED OF TAMPERING WITH AN ENTRY AND/OR THE VOTING PROCESS, INCLUDING ANY PERSON ATTEMPTING TO OBTAIN AUTOMATED VOTES. IN ADDITION TO THE RIGHTS RETAINED BY SPONSOR SET FORTH IN SECTION 6 AND 11 ABOVE, SPONSOR FURTHER RESERVES THE RIGHT IN ITS DISCRETION TO DISQUALIFY ALL VOTES FROM VOTERS THAT ARE DEEMED TO BE FRAUDULENT. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE ENTRY SITE, OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND/OR SEEK DAMAGES AND/OR OTHER RELIEF FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW. 8. GRANT OF RIGHTS: By submitting Entry, Entrant represents and warrants that submission of the entry is for all members in the Groom’s party and that the submitting member of has all rights necessary to commit the other members to all of the obligations, warranties, representations and other terms and conditions stated in the Official Rules. Entrant irrevocably assigns and transfers to Sponsor all rights, title and interest in the Entry and all information and materials contained therein or attached thereto, including, without limitation, all copyrights, and all rights incidental, subsidiary, ancillary or allied thereto (including, without limitation, all moral rights and all derivative rights), for exploitation throughout the universe, in perpetuity, by means of any and all media and devices whether now known or hereafter devised. For all personal rights, such as publicity rights, or any other rights that Entrant cannot irrevocably assign to Sponsor ("Personal Rights"), Entrant hereby grants to Sponsor a nonexclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable license, but not obligation, to use any such Personal Rights for the purpose of this Contest without any further compensation other than the opportunity to win one of the Prizes listed above. Entrant agrees to execute any documents that Sponsor may require to affect such transfer of right without any compensation or consideration other than entry to the Contest as specified in these Official Rules. 9. PRIVACY POLICY: By entering the Contest, Entrants agree to Sponsor's use of their personal information as described in Sponsor's Privacy Policy which can be viewed at TheRingBearer.ca and MooresClothing.com. 10. OTHER PROMOTIONS: Please note: Sponsor may be running similar promotions concurrently or in the future. Your Entry into this Contest is for this Contest only, and you must enter each of any concurrent or future contests separately, and in accordance with any rules, terms or conditions applicable thereto. 11. GOVERNING LAW: The Contest is governed by and subject to the laws of Ontario, Canada and all disputes will be decided in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario. Void where prohibited by law. 12.
