There's A First Time for Everything!

Tania Sousa won TheRingBearer.ca's $7000 ring giveaway!

Another wedding show has come and gone and yet another $7000 ring giveaway. TheRingBearer.ca’s booth in the Fall 2008 National Bridal Show signed up over 2000 brides, grooms and guests who were all hoping to win the ring. Better than the lottery, the odds was still pretty slim for any indvidiual to win TheRingBearer.ca’s signature ring.

Tania Sousa, an engaged accounts receivable clerk, became TheRingBearer.ca’s fourth winner on Tuesday, September 9th, 2008. Within minutes of announcing the winner on TheRingBearer.ca's home page, Tania called with an overwhelmed voice, “Hi my name is Tania Sousa, I think I won the ring?” Doing her best to hold back her excitement.

As soon as she passed all preliminary administrative requirements, the ring became officially hers and joy and excitement became more apparent. “I’ve never won anything before!”

She did win a ring that 2000 other people didn’t. A nice example of that saying, ‘anything can happen.’ Even when the odds are against you, it doesn’t hurt to try!

Like what Wayne Gretzky once said, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
