Ingredients:
Bag of Epson Salt
Box of Baking Soda
Essential Oil (pick your favorite scent)
Benefits:
Epson salts relax tired and soar muscles
Baking soda softens skin leaving it smooth to touch
Essential Oils can be soothing or energizing
Combine 4 cups of Epson Salt with 1 cup of Baking Soda in a large bowl. Mix the Epson Salt and Baking soda together while gradually adding drops of oil to saturate the mix with fragrance. Optional: add flower petals into the mix for an added elegance
Store your salt in preferably a glass-lidded container. To use, run a bath and dissolve a full cup of the salt into the water.
For an interesting look, you may choose to tint the salt with food coloring of your choice; however, keep in mind that food colouring is an additive that will take away from the natural properties of the mixture.
